WINDHOFF AT THE UNIFE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN WARSAW
WINDHOFF is a new member of the European Association of the Railway Supply Industry
As part of this year's UNIFE General Assembly in Warsaw, Managing Director Ludwig Wehling, together with Matthias Schienstock, Head of Approval, introduced WINDHOFF Bahn- und Anlagentechnik GmbH to the participants. The participants received an insight into the company, its development and the broad WINDHOFF service portfolio in the railway sector - from modular rail vehicles and workshop equipment to shunting and track construction technology.
Strategic strengthening through membership in the European Railway Technology Association
For WINDHOFF, joining UNIFE – The European Rail Supply Industry Association is an important strategic step. As part of the European network of the rail supply industry, WINDHOFF will be able to become even more involved in topics such as innovation, standardization and approval and incorporate practical requirements into the European dialogue. Infrastructure operators, private railway companies and companies with their own railways, for whom reliable, future-proof solutions are the focus, particularly benefit from this.
Working together to make rail transport more efficient and sustainable
The general meeting also provided the framework for numerous technical discussions with other member companies. The exchange with manufacturers, system houses and associations focused, among other things, on sustainable drive concepts, modular vehicle platforms and efficient service and maintenance solutions. WINDHOFF took the opportunity to place its expertise in the development, production and life cycle service of rail vehicles and railway technology and to make new contacts in the European market.
WINDHOFF would like to thank you for the excellent organization, the inspiring discussions and the open welcome into the circle of members. The company looks forward to further exchange in the UNIFE committees with great anticipation - with the clear goal of making rail transport in Europe even more efficient, sustainable and competitive.
